Maida debuted in the ring at the Gaitway Specialty in June 2016, handled by Sherri Hurst. At 11 months, she won the 9-12 month Sweepstakes class under breeder judge Ellen Schusterson and went on to be awarded third place in the regular 9-12 month bitch class by breeder judge Vicki Sandage, DVM. Maida enjoyed her time out as a Special in 2017, but was happy to come home and be a pampered pet. In March of 2019, Maida had her first litter of puppies and has turned out to be a wonderful mother!
